followenglish is a company that specializes in the teaching of English to adult learners. Our mission is to provide excellence in language teaching and in all the services we offer. We believe that learning a language not only involves the development of linguistic competences, but also developing social skills and learning about the culture of different countries.

 Company History

May 2009 - First inspiration to start followenglish - company name is created. Domain purchased.

In May 2009 I also started a blog on which I wrote a few articles and some ideas on teaching which later helped me establish the grounds on which followenglish was to stand upon. This blog is no longer available. 

June 2009 - Logo design starts.

July 2009 - Logo design concluded.

September - December 2009 - Online services such as YouTube channel, Twitter account, etc. created.

January - December 2010 - Company documents and models are created. 

January 2011 - April 2011 - Final arrangements take place.

May 2011 - Web hosting server set up. Blog construction starts. First blogpost published.

June 2011 - Site construction starts. Blog is now up and running.

July 2011 - Site template ready. Logo vector file ready. Work on the content of the site begins.

August 2011 - Site is almost ready. Translation to Portuguese starts.

September 2011 - ".com.br" and ".com" domains unified.

October 2011 - Paperwork and registration at the Companies House starts.

November 2011 - Research about LMS begins.

December 2011 - Subdomain for Virtual followenglish is set up.

January 2012 - Research about video streaming begins.
